Position: Employee Health Nurse - Clinic   Location: 10215 Broadway, Crown Point, IN  

Job Summary:

The Employee Health Nurse coordinates the employee occupational/workers' comp program by developing protocols, reporting and record keeping.  Assists with implementation of health and safety education programs in the workplace.  Administers direct and indirect care to ill/injured employees and evaluates outcomes in an effort to provide a healthy, productive workforce. Completes pre-employment screenings for onboarding of new hires.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing school required, BS degree preferred Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana required Minimum of 2–4 years of varied nursing experience, primarily nursing care areas such as public or community health, industrial/occupational nursing, or critical/emergent care Knowledge of adult educational principles Must maintain current CPR certification Organizational skills, ability to multitask efficiently and effectively Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation Completes annual skill validation as well as safety and infection control procedures Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities are necessary to interact with employees, managers, and other organization associates
