We study employee interactions, trends and changes to better understand our employees’ experiences. Usually, we begin with a question, challenge or idea related to our company’s work environment. Your role involves taking those hypotheses and determining how to best understand them through research and data analysis.
As the Employee Insights Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be designing, implementing, managing and analyzing listening channels such as surveys, focus groups and interviews, in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver unique insights about the organization. This position reports to VP of Listening and Data Storytelling and will be part of a team of problem solvers and solution designers dedicated to making JP Morgan a great place to work.
Job Responsibilities
Act as the voice of the employee by supporting the design and implementation of our listening strategy and by providing high quality employee insights that HR and Business Leaders can leverage to influence the employee experience Conduct end-to-end analysis on large employee data sets to identify patterns/trends and answer questions/hypothesis about the employee experience and what influences it Turn data into easy to understand visuals that tell a story. Make complex ideas simple so leaders can act on them Be an expert project manager of all efforts you touch, delivering high quality work on time consistently Ensure all appropriate data privacy, security, and controls requirements are incorporated into all processes Maintain and expand partnerships with key stakeholders within the lines of business and at the Firmwide levelRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills
7+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a role involving extracting/ aggregating data and performing employee data analysis and storytelling Advanced knowledge of analyzing both structured and unstructured data; managing and manipulate large data sets in Excel quantitative and qualitative research, and survey design principles Knowledge of employee listening methodologies such as survey, focus groups, interviewing Ability to work to solve problems independently, remove barriers and propose solutions, i.e. taking a hypothesis, researching and coming back with a perspective Ability to identify and communicate critical insights through appealing and concise reports and summaries Strong partnership and consulting skills, ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and peers in order to get things done Balance of intellectual curiosity with exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills; ability to absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accuratelyPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or other Behavioral Sciences Experience working in SurveyMonkey and Qualtrics Experience working with employee data compliance and controls
