Role Summary

The Employee Meeting Consultant is responsible for working with RPS plan sponsors to consult, plan, and organize retirement plan meeting campaigns that drive action for their employees and revenue for the firm. The position’s primary duties include goal setting, content and strategy development and implementation, resource planning and organizing, campaign measurement, and client servicing for both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Client Consulting - Working directly with plan sponsors, external plan consultants, and internal contacts to develop an investor meeting strategy for RPS clients.  Expected to consultatively interact with clients using CCI skills and provide them with expert meeting advice and insight on the most effective ways to message and reach their retirement plan goals.Resource Planning - Responsible for managing the capacity of the team against the goals of the client. Responsibilities include managing an assignment calendar, gathering client and meeting information, and drafting meeting assignment documents for internal and external presenters/customers.  Effectively resolve client conflicts and negotiate to win-win solutions. Project Management – Initiates, leads, and coordinates projects working with the Marketing Managers, Client Experience Manager, and Meeting Team Department Manager to identify areas of improvement to increase productivity and quality levels.Resolves moderately complex or specialized client issues; conducts research and reporting to resolve these issues. Escalates highly complex issues to management or senior staff.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND5+ years of total relevant work experienceSeries 6 and 63 required

Preferred:

Series 7 and/or SIE preferredCRPC

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role requires travel and is eligible for full time remote work.

Base Salary Ranges

Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.

$61,000.00 - $98,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$67,500.00 - $108,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$76,500.00 - $123,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
