As an Employee Performance & Engagement Manager, you will manage the overall performance of the frontline employee group, motivating and enabling the team to meet service standards. You will support other section heads in promoting a culture of high performance while overseeing employee relations, communication, and engagement strategies.
In this role, you will gain experience in performance management and employee development, enhancing your leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to drive meaningful change within the team and contribute to a strong service culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesActively solicit feedback and concerns from management and employeesCoordinate and facilitate consultative meetings with frontline staff to promote engagementSupport section heads in managing staff and suggest initiatives to enhance teamworkEngage representatives with the support of the relevant teamsEstablish and develop performance management processes and tools for the teamOversee cases related to disciplinary and performance issues, ensuring fair handlingDevelop internal recognition programs for frontline teams to boost moraleManage the performance of frontline employees through monitoring and counselingCollaborate with recruitment teams on new hires and internal promotionsSupport talent development initiatives and identify learning needs for the teamRequirements
Minimum of seven years of experience in people and performance management for frontline teamsExperience in airport operations with an understanding of team culture and dynamicsProven skills in effective coaching and counseling to support employee developmentKnowledge of performance management systems and processes for effective implementationStrong leadership abilities with a focus on long-term performance improvement strategiesFluency in written and spoken English, with spoken Cantonese as a requirementExcellent team player with polished communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical, coordination, planning, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft applications for daily tasks and reportingWillingness to work extra hours, shifts, and flexible schedules as neededPersonal & Application Information
