The Employee Relations (ER) Associate provides a broad range of professional employee relations activities including but not limited to employee consulting, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and triage high level employee relations concerns to the appropriate ER Investigator. Interacts with all levels of leadership regarding coaching, legal compliance, and discipline. Works with a great deal of independent discretion in decision making and execution of responsibilities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Works closely with the broader Employee Relations team and regional HR teams to consistently deliver high quality customer service to customers and provide professional representation of the department.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Collaborating and communicating with team members to understand their concerns. Counseling and providing guidance and support to the team members and resolving their issues. Understand company policies and procedures. Aides communication between leaders and team members and resolving issues. Ensuring the company’s policies are kept up to date and in line with industry best practices. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Bachelors Degree 2-5+ years of proven work experience in Human Resources 1-3 years of employee relations experience strongly preferred Knowledge of employment law (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.) Outstanding interpersonal skills Exceptional written and verbal communication Ability to analyze data and provide insights for improvement Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong problem-solving abilityReports to: Employee Relations Manager
