Employee Relations - HRBP

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is teamed with a global leader in the commercial, aerospace and defense markets and they are seeking an Employee Relations -HRBP.
Scope of Responsibilities: 8+ years of experience in investigations and employee relations. Compensation, Performance Management and Employee Relations experience required Will source and recruit qualified candidates for a range of production, engineering, technical and professional skills. Interface with hiring managers regarding staffing strategies, including screening, interview, selection and employment activities. Consults with leaders on affirmative action goals and responsibilities. Conducts targeted outreach with community based organizations and recruiting sources. Obtains proper documentation of selection decisions. Completes On-Boarding activities, including background screening and new hire orientation. Maintains employee records in HRIS system including new hires and terminations. Assists with annual appraisal process. Provides support to leadership and staff in the areas of member development and training. Understand and resolve HR issues at the local level and interpret company policies. Conducts ethics investigations and works to determine proper corrective actions. Solid understanding of HR function and ability to apply skills necessary to support all functions of the department. Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations. Ability to collaborate and work well in a team based environment. Strong ability to plan, organize, execute, and follow through on all tasks to completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to drive for results. Practical and results-oriented with the ability to drive results in a matrix structure. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline required. Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline is a plus. Location: Valencia, CA
Compensation: $40-$60 per hour DOE
