Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for leading investigations for employee relations cases by partnering with People Business Partners, Security, Legal & other internal stakeholders. Occasional travel for training, meetings, and investigations may be necessary as the business need arises.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough, timely and objective investigations, across multiple business segments, related to escalated claims of violations of company policy, with focus on discrimination, harassment, &/or retaliation.Compile & maintain documents from investigations, including final recommendation, via internal confidential system of record.Consults with internal stakeholders (People business partners, business leaders, legal & security) on escalated employee relations cases to provide guidance on course of action, outcomes, & resolution.Monitor and review relevant employment law, regulations, & guidelines to mitigate legal risk.Assisting with developing and conducting training programs on employee relations topics.Manage internal reports/tracking for employee relations data to support employee relations analytics.Improve compliance policies & procedures through escalating learning outcomes of investigations & review of employment law.Assist employees seeking a medical and/or religious accommodation by facilitating the interactive process.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED with 2-3 years experience in Human Resources, Legal, Business Administration, or military equivalent. AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:Ability to prioritize workload when working with multiple deadlinesAbility to analyze and interpret HR policiesProficient time-management skillsAbility to adhere to defined principles/standards/proceduresAbility to make sound judgments in employment matters of significance within the parameters of company policy and applicable lawAbility to communicate effectively through all mediumsKnowledge of employment lawAbility to deliver informative presentations to employees at all levels in the organizationAbility to scope, organize, and monitor projects


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors in HR Management, I/O Psychology, Employee Law, etc. with 2-3 years experience in employee and/or labor relations.

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
