Your Role: Manager Employee Relations/ Labor Relations
Employee engagement is at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll ensure fair, consistent, and transparent employee relations processes are applied across our sites, while respecting and supporting our employees' rights to establish and join works councils. Working closely with senior leadership teams, you'll provide strategic guidance on employee relations programs and initiatives, foster positive workplace relationships, and offer expert counsel on trade union matters. The role involves partnering with various stakeholders to drive positive labor relations outcomes and create an engaging work environment.
Business Area: Operations
Operations is at the heart of the Amazon customer experience. Each action we undertake is completed on behalf of our customers because meeting and often exceeding their expectations. The Operations teams in our fulfillment centers are responsible for managing a vast range of fast-moving inventory. From receiving into the fulfillment center to stowing, picking, packing and shipping to our customers, they work very hard to ensure that our customers receive what they want, when they want it.
Position requires approximately 30-40% travel within Austria to support multiple operations sites.
A day in the life
The day-to-day working life of an ER Manager will be ever changing. One day, you will be on-site supporting the local Leadership Team, may it be during a period of change, a period of works council elections, while trade union activities are ongoing or other. The next day, you will be supporting projects relevant for all sites of the business line(s) you are supporting and work with colleagues from the EU ER Team which support your line of business in other countries. You will be embedded in a fun-to-work with team and as such also get your share in reaching our team goals and work on Austria-wide projects covering all lines of business.
