The Employee Relations Manager will:

Provide support and guidance to managers and employees across branches spanning across Louisiana. Handle complex HR matters such as investigations, terminations, and employee discipline while building trust and offering hands-on support. Foster engagement initiatives to improve workplace culture and collaboration. Act as a relationship builder and resource for managers who are experts in their fields but need guidance on HR processes like documentation and follow-through. Uphold and advance the organization’s commitment to core values and continuous improvement.

This position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who is comfortable working onsite, traveling occasionally, and managing change in a dynamic environment.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field of study. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education. 5+ years of proven expertise in employee relations, (ideally a prior Employee Relations Manager or Specialist, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Generalist with heavy employee relations duties), including experience with investigations, terminations, coaching managers, and engagement initiatives.  Must have working knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal employment and labor laws. Minimum 2 years’ experience in related management role. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with employees and managers at all levels. Commitment to follow-up and follow-through, with exceptional organizational skills. A flexible and collaborative mindset, ready to handle change and work independently or as part of a team. Passion for fostering a culture of care, engagement, and continuous improvement. HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) Certification is strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
