What You'll Do
As our Employee Relations Manager, you will play a vital role in fostering positive employee relations across Poland and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). This role involves addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to People Org policies and processes. You will also collaborate closely with other business partners across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with the People Organization, managers, and colleagues to address inquiries and resolve issues related to HR policies and processes.
- Policy Guidance: Provide expert advice on complex policy matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global standards.
- Performance Management: Partner with colleagues and leaders to address performance gaps, mentor managers, and conduct internal investigations of misconduct allegations.
- Absence and Wellbeing Support: Guide managers on managing leave of absence cases, flexible working requests, and workplace accommodations, while supporting wellbeing initiatives.
- Organizational Change: Assist with involuntary terminations and provide support during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with consultation requirements.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate litigation risks and use data analytics to inform people-related strategies.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Experience: At least 5 years in a similar HR role, with a strong understanding of employee relations and local employment laws.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
- Consulting Skills: Proven ability to advise employees at all levels and work effectively with diverse clients.
- Communication: Excellent listening, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong people leadership skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail, with experience in HR process improvement.
