Job Description:Work location: Palo Alto, CA
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigations:
o Conduct prompt, thorough, and objective investigations into worker complaints, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, workplace conflict, policy violations, or other employment-related concerns in partnership with Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance teams.
o Interview employees, managers, and witnesses to gather relevant information while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
o Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of interviews, findings, and conclusions.
o Provide clear and concise reports summarizing investigation outcomes and recommendations for resolution.
• Analysis and Strategy Development:
o Analyze investigation outcomes and complaint trends to identify systemic issues and root causes.
o Evaluate workloads and trends to develop strategies that reduce recurring complaints and foster a positive work environment.
o Collaborate with HR and management teams to implement preventive measures and improve organizational policies.
• Management Enablement:
o Utilize data and insights from investigations to determine management enablement resources, such as training programs, communication strategies, and leadership development initiatives.
o Partner with other internal and external resources to design and deliver targeted training for managers on topics like conflict resolution, employee engagement, and workplace ethics.
• Compliance and Risk Mitigation:
o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.
o Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues to reduce organizational risk and promote a culture of fairness and respect.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
• 12+ years of experience in employee relations, HR investigations, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA).
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and strategies.
• Proficiency in HR software and case management tools.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $182,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
