Employee Relations Manager - Internal Only

As an **Employee Relations Manager** , you’ll be a part of creating and delivering amazing customer experiences, while also enjoying the satisfaction of being part of a unique culture. **What You’ll Be Doing** The purpose of the Employee Relations (ER) Manager role is to partner with other PI Leaders and managers to improve the employee relations processes and ensure legal compliance and consistency in the fact-finding/investigative and documentation process. The ER Manager will lead a team of Employee Relations Specialists to promote Percepta’s Values of Teamwork, Respect, being Proactive, and Culture of Service, as well as our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging that may have an impact on employee relations. This role primarily covers the local region providing solutions tailored to support Percepta’s business operations. May be required to provide expert cross-regional support if needed. **During a Typical Day, You’ll** * Provide coaching, consultation, and support to PI Business Partners and all levels of line managers on employee relations issues and concerns, including attendance, behavioral concerns, performance management, progressive discipline, policy interpretation, etc. * Partner closely with legal to provide expert knowledge of U.S. policies, procedures, and employment law/regulations. * Ensure consistent, full, fair, and timely fact-finding internal investigations regarding policy violations, misconduct, discrimination, harassment, etc., timely. * Engage leaders and/or key stakeholders to ensure consistency when issues arise, (People Innovation Leaders, Legal, Security, etc.) * Oversee and approve all investigation reports to ensure compliance. * Own corrective action, disciplinary, and performance improvement plan process. * Develop and prepare training and materials to develop ER staff and educate managers. * Create a safe environment for employees and people managers to report confidentially. * Triage cases based on level of complexity and risk to the organization. * Manage the security of confidential/proprietary case files. * Direct and manage a team responsible for employee relations, leave administration, and legal compliance. * Interview, select, and train employees for the department. * Direct and evaluate performance through the performance evaluation process, one-on-ones, corrective actions, etc. * Plan, direct, and distribute workload to department members. * Administer disciplinary actions as required. **What You Bring to the Role** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree * Master's degree preferred * SHRM PHR/SPHR Certification Preferred * Remain knowledgeable, current, informed on federal, state and local of ADA, FMLA, FSLA, NLRB, Title VII, EEOC, DOL **Experience** * 5-7 years of relevant experience in employee relations, labor relations supporting large group of hourly workforce. * Minimum 5 years of managing and overseeing investigations. * Minimum 5 years supervising/managing a team. * Prior experience in a call center hourly workforce environment. **Skills** * Process oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills mindset and able to troubleshoot with solid quantitative detailed information. * Ability to effectively communicate findings and provide recommendations to all levels of management. * Solid sense of high-quality judgement in problem solving and sound decision making. **Travel** * Up to 5% of domestic travel may be required for business purposes. **What You Can Expect** * Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance * Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) * 401(k) with company match * Vacation/Sick Time and Paid Holidays * Tuition Reimbursement * Employee Assistance Program * Employee Discount Program * Training and Development Programs (Percepta College) **·** Employee Rewards Program (Perci Perks) **About Percepta** Established in 2000, Percepta has contact centers across the globe that proudly deliver a frictionless customer experience to our clients.
