OVERVIEW:
This role will be responsible for providing support to Field Regional, Supply Chain, and CSC HR Directors and Generalists on Employee Relations, Compliance, Engagement/Experience, and limited Administration processes.
The Specialist-HR is a key partner for store leadership and provides expertise, coaching and advice primarily in the areas of employee relations, employee programs and interpretation of policies and procedures. Working in close partnership with the store leaders, the role is accountable for utilizing project management, facilitation, communication expertise to deliver relevant and effective employee relations solutions.
This is a full time hybrid role based out of our corporate office in Coraopolis, PA (remote Monday & Friday, in office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This role will require around 25% travel.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Employee Relations
Conduct employee relations investigations and analyze organizational issues.
Respond to all general questions from regions such as letters of employment, confirmation of earnings and employment verifications.
Provide counseling and direction to employees, facilitate communication, and help resolve conflicts that impact employee engagement.
Own EthicsPoint alert lines and ensure they are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Create, manage, and maintain HR Cases for all investigations.
Partner and escalate concern to HRG/HRD when appropriate (Racial Discrimination, Sexual Harassment etc.).
HR Generalist Support
Acts as Generalist for supported regions when HRG is out of office.
Conducts Pulse Checks with employees and provides detailed summary of findings of culture and engagement.
Assist in implementing the organization’s performance management process through coaching, educating, and providing feedback at the District and Store levels in partnership with regional HR.
Special Projects, Data Analytics, & Compliance
Employee Relations special projects may include AAP toolkits, ER programs, LER Summit participation, etc.
Collect data and present the Regional/area trends across employee relations cases to assess organizational needs and assist Regional HR leadership in diagnosing root cause problems that impact overall organizational health.
Data analytics may also include regional support and tracking of employee relations data to include investigations, AAP metrics, and other scorecard focused metrics.
Guide, train, and direct business partners on the execution of HR policies and processes to ensue, appropriate legal and organizational compliance.
Background Check review & partnership with HRBP/Legal
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required
1-3 years of experience in Human Resources and Employee Relations
Knowledge of employment law
Workday knowledge is preferred
Retail experience is preferred
