Program Description: The Human Resources team within the Talent Development and Support department manages the Recruitment, Hiring, Compensation & Benefits and other service needs for the 500+ personnel who comprise its workforce. The HR team focuses on data-driven strategies to advance its goals of excellent customer service and of supporting broader organizational goals of workforce and service excellence. Principal Objective/Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Employee Relations Specialist to join our team on a part-time, per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work up to 15 hours per week with a highly flexible schedule, making it ideal for individuals seeking work-life balance. Job Responsibilities: + Support the implementation of employee relations and anonymous reporting platform; + Receive and record employee complaints/grievances and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to coordinate next steps; + Support all phases of investigations, including interviews, drafting summaries, Termination/Offboarding Checklists, and Notification letters. + Help ensure employee relations’ practices are aligned with Graham’s Human Resources’ workplace policies. + Maintain records of employee complaints/concerns along with their corresponding outcomes; + Work closely with the manager to conduct surveys among management staff regarding training needs and prepare training materials and educational content to address these needs. + Organize, publish and present periodic reports on insights and recommended practice improvements. + Support special projects related to Graham’s employee relations’ strategy and practices as needed. Qualifications Position Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree required or 4+ years of prior experience in HR, Business, or related field. + Intermediate-Advanced skills with MS Office Suite and strong technical proficiency. + Excellent written/verbal communication skills and business acumen. + Strong analytical and research skills. + Knowledge of HR best practices. + Detail-oriented and organized. + Ability to work collaboratively and independently. + Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
