Employee Resources Representative

Make a difference.

As an Employee Resources Representative, you will provide effective customer service by using knowledge of company policies and procedures to answer questions related to Human Resources (HR), Payroll, and Benefits and complete basic HR transactions.

In this role you will:

Research and resolve employee and retiree inquiries via calls, emails, and service tickets.Maintain HR data, perform maintenance-related data entry, and business processes in Workday and other HR systems.Complete pension and beneficiary processes including benefit calculations, notification of benefits, set up of pension payments and document management.Audit completed system and other processes for accuracy, data integrity, and compliance.Explain company policies, benefits and procedures to employees.Assist with benefit plan related issues and requests including but not limited to COBRA, eligibility, claim escalation/resolution, life events, open enrollment and retirement.Process invoices and exception reports from vendors, work with HRIS and administration team to resolve issues; maintain working relationships with vendor representatives.Train fellow Employee Resources Representatives; assist junior members of team with issue resolution.Provide HR reports to internal stakeholders.Maintain process documentation; participate in projects and suggest ideas for continuous improvement.

What you bring to the table:

3 years’ experience:  in a customer facing roleHigh school diploma or GED4-5 years’ experience:  in a customer facing role and working knowledge of or prior experience with an HRIS systemFour-year degreeKnowledge of the Company's policies and proceduresKnowledge of WorkdayConsiderable knowledge of subject matter, principles, and concepts of the fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service skillsProblem solving skillsMicrosoft Office Suite skillsIntermediate analytical, research and problem solving skillsComputer skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to calmly manage difficult callers and customer service situationsAbility to prioritize customer service issues and escalate as neededAbility to work in a team setting and open office environment

Shift and Hours:

Monday – Friday1 month training in-office, followed by a hybrid schedule during normal business hours.

 

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $21.00 per hour depending on experience.
