Prairie Ridge Health is looking for an Employee Services Assistant to join our Employee Services (HR) department. This position is a 0.9-1.0 FTE (36-40 hours per week).
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for collaborating with the Employee Services Team, and the SVP - Culture, Strategy and Growth to ensure the paperwork relating to Employee Services is distributed, completed and filed in the appropriate places in a timely manner including new employee paperwork, benefit enrollment and change forms, payroll changes, -, etc. The Employee Services Assistant also coordinates the calendar of the SVP - Culture, Strategy and Growth, mail distribution and pickup, employee illness log, filing of illness and injury incidents with the worker's compensation company and general secretarial support of the Employee Services Department. This position takes on primary responsibility for maintaining the badge system and coordinating related updates to UKG and the point of sale system. In addition, this position is the lead on many employee services events including the annual awards banquet, gift ordering, and special “weeks” within the facility. The Employee Services Assistant acts as a resource for the employees in regards to policies and procedures and will also learn to back up others in the department as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
+ High school diploma or the equivalent is preferred
+ 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, human resources related position or a 2-year associate's degree in human resources.
+ Knowledge of word processing and Excel spreadsheets and familiarity with web-based applications.
+ Previous event planning experience is preferred.
FTE: 0.9-1.0 (36-40 hours per week)
Shift: Monday-Friday, days
