Job Summary:

The Employee Supply Supervisor oversees the planning, assignment, and evaluation of day-to-day operations related to employee supply management, ensuring that work activities and resources are effectively aligned to support the organization’s supply chain and inventory needs. This individual will be responsible for monitoring staff performance, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the supplies are procured, stocked, and distributed in a timely and efficient manner. The Employee Supply Supervisor ensures that all operations run smoothly, evaluates resource allocation, and implements strategies to improve overall efficiency and productivity within the supply management function.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities: 

\r\n

\r\n\r\nAssists in developing departmental strategies, setting clear goals, and prioritizing tasks to enhance productivity and improve customer service levels. \r\nOversees supply and demand operations across multiple product lines, ensuring inventory levels, costs, and other key performance metrics align with organizational objectives. \r\nCollaborates with plant leadership to identify and implement business process improvements, optimizing cost control, integrating new/existing products, and adapting to changes in business needs and regulatory requirements. \r\nManages all aspects of order processing, including allocation management, Innova Zone scanning, logistics coordination for inbound/outbound supplies, and inventory optimization through analysis and efficient execution. \r\nLeads and mentors a team of contributors supporting a complex global business unit, overseeing performance reviews, setting development goals, and ensuring team members have the necessary tools and resources to succeed. \r\nSafeguards inventory by enforcing security protocols and monitoring procedures to prevent losses and maintain accountability. \r\nActs as a role model, driving compliance with all Company policies and regulatory guidelines (e.g., USDA, OSHA, DOL, EEOC, etc.) while promoting proactive understanding among team members. \r\nAdministers and monitors work schedules, assignments, and rotations to ensure all supplies and equipment are maintained in safe, operational condition. \r\nEvaluates and recommends cost-effective supply and equipment options by analyzing current inventory against operational needs. \r\nSupervises procurement activities, controlling inventory levels and stock supplies to ensure timely availability and efficient use of resources.\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\r\n\r\n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

\r\n\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influencing abilities. \r\nStrong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, modeling, and problem-solving.\r\nIn-depth understanding of supply and demand planning processes, business operations, and strategic alignment. \r\nFamiliarity with recycling, waste management, and contract management. \r\nSolid knowledge of inventory control and management practices. \r\nProven leadership abilities, including team building, coaching, and conflict resolution. \r\nExceptional multitasking and prioritization skills to manage competing tasks effectively. \r\nRobust interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and influence across various levels of the organization. \r\nSkilled in motivating teams to achieve goals and drive performance. \r\nKnowledge of OSHA and MSDS certification requirements related to equipment and chemical handling. \r\nProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.), and other inventory software tools. \r\n\r\n

Education & Experience:

\r\n\r\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Accounting, Engineering or related field preferred.\r\n3+ years of experience in inventory management or related role. \r\nAt least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role; preferably within supply chain or inventory management. \r\nPrior work experience in food manufacturing, Retail, or Manufacturing is desirable. \r\n\r\n

Working Conditions:   

\r\n\r\nOffice and Plant work environments.  Possibility of being exposed to varying conditions in the Plant setting, such as cold areas, warm areas, chemicals, loud noise levels, and other site conditions.\r\nWork in office environment revolves around use of telephones, personal computers, and printers.\r\nPhysical requirements of the position may include standing, sitting, and walking for greater than 1/3 of the day and seldom to occasional lifting of less than 30 pounds.\r\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.\r\n\r\n
