The Employee Wellness Intern will assist with and assimilate into all roles within the Strong4Life Employee Wellness department and develop an understanding of an overall and holistic approach to employee well-being.Project/position description:
Have 8 hour shift within the Support Center Fitness CenterGreet employees, sign up for center, give tours and Strong4Life information, fold towels, keep fitness center tidyShadow Wellness Coaching TeamRounding within all hospitals for program marketing and/or resiliency roundingAssist wellness coordinators with development and execution of wellness programsAssist with day of execution of Superhero Sprint Road RaceAssist Wellness Coach, Fitness, and Emotional Wellness Supervisors with tasks for team engagements as neededQualifications:
Progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Allied Health, Exercise Science, Health PromotionStrong work ethic and demonstrated initiativeStrong writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsSolid process, analytical, problem solving and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Education
College or graduate student that is currently working towards a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other related fieldKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Develops and implements projects as assigned, which could include events, activities, programs, or research studies.Creates and carries out a cohesive plan for each assigned project.
