JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Employee Wellness Manager (RN), the Employee Wellness Nurse (LVN) provides support for coordination and management of the hospital wide Employee Health and Wellness Program.  This includes infection control, education and monitoring trends identified through surveillance, and assisting with maintenance of regulatory functions.  The Employee Wellness Nurse will have the primary responsibility for the coordination and management of the Employee Health program to include the screening and vaccination programs. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

Completion of Vocational Nursing Program or Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Minimum Work Experience No previous experience.  Required Licenses/Certifications Licensed Vocational Nurse. CPR-BCLS Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Deals effectively with hospital personnel. Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Maintains professional appearance and decorum at all times. Requires ability to handle confidential information. Requires extreme diplomacy and tact. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
