Fraser is seeking a Part Time Employment Coach Coverage Specialist to help support with caseload coverage that includes job coaching, informational interviews assistance, and job exploration visits that may fall outside of regularly scheduled business hours. 

In this Part-time position you would support individuals with neuro-diverse, mental health and developmental disability diagnoses to develop independence and success with their career and education goals.  Assist program participants in the community (library, coffee shop, at job sites, Fraser clinical locations) with development of work skills including self-advocacy, interview skills, career path identification, and job coaching. Assists with teaching group classes. You would gain knowledge in disability services and coordination of supports across case-management, families, vocational rehabilitation services and mental health services to enhance individual outcomes and obtain valuable experience and exposure using a person-centered approach. 

Requirements: 

AA, BA or BS in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Services or Human Resources preferred. 1+ years of experience providing related services to individuals with disabilities preferred Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid or other certifications as required. Ability to learn and demonstrate Employment Specialist competencies as defined by state requirements. Valid Minnesota driver’s license, an acceptable driving record per Fraser policy, and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities:

Provide person-centered, responsive approaches and interventions to program participants to be independently successful in their career goals. Implement job aids/accommodations for individual’s success in employment. Work and contribute in a team environment. Provide job-coaching supports to ensure successful employment and job retention for program participants. Effectively implement employment service plans and document progress. Engage in respectful, open communication and develop effective working relationships with clients, responsible parties, community employers and other team members to provide high quality support, while maintaining professional boundaries. Maintain professional working and collaborative relationships with funding sources and community employers. Complete required documentation and monthly reporting per program requirements and regulation requirements. Attend trainings and workshops to gain and apply skills to position. Find new ways to be even more meaningful, effective and efficient for our families, staff and partners.
