Job Description:
This position will be a member of the Employment Law Team in Arrow’s Legal & Compliance Department and play a key role in maintaining a complaint and respectful equal-opportunity work environment. It will be primarily responsible for conducting investigations into employee complaints that implicate legal risk, such as those alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other violations of the law. This position will work under the direction of legal counsel to prepare investigation plans, conduct interviews, gather relevant materials, make factual findings, determine investigation results, recommend remedial action, and prepare investigation summaries. In addition, it will prepare responses to government inquiries (such as those from the EEOC or OFCCP) and participate in internal or external audits. This position will also manage ad-hoc projects in support of the Legal & Compliance Department.

What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct internal investigations and inquiries under the direction of legal counsel into employee and third-party complaints implicating legal risk, such as those alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other unlawful conduct. This includes, but is not limited to: consulting with counsel on investigation plan and scope; coordinating with HR team and providing guidance; preparing and conducting witness interviews and drafting or revising witness summaries; compiling fact-finding materials from internal stakeholders; drafting investigation summaries; and maintaining investigation files. Prepare and manage investigation tracking system, including maintenance of data, identification of trends, and recording any remedial actions. Utilize in-depth knowledge of interplay between Arrow policies and procedures with federal, state, and local regulations, and how these affect and are applied for Arrow’s varied workforce (e.g. remote workers, light industrial workforce).Work independently, exercising discretion and sound judgment at all times, including when addressing sensitive matters and leading investigations.Support compliance investigations (recordkeeping, expenses, sales practices, etc.) and escalated global investigations.Prepare and deliver training on investigation best practices.Compile materials for government inquiries from the EEOC, CDLE, OFCCP, and other agencies, as well as internal and external audits. Draft and prepare inquiry responses under supervision of counsel.Perform research into legal requirements, statutes, regulations, or new developments relating to employment or litigation.Serve as liaison among in-house counsel, internal clients, and outside counsel.Assist with implementation and coordination of legal hold process, legal billing, and manage communication as requested by counsel or in conjunction with investigation, inquiry, audit or litigation need.Assist in management of discovery requests for government inquiries, subpoenas and litigation including employment and bankruptcy. Manage ad-hoc substantive and administrative projects to support Employment Law Team and Legal & Compliance Department.Perform other tasks as assigned.What We Are Looking For:
5-7 years of experience conducting investigations into employee-relations or similar complaints implicating legal risk. Prior experience working with Human Resources or in a Legal Department preferred.Extensive background in performing all aspects of investigations into escalated employee relations complaints, with emphasis on witness interviews and drafting investigation summary reports addressing complex legal issues.Deep knowledge of employment and labor issues, including discrimination and harassment based on protected characteristics, sexual harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wage-and-hour laws, timekeeping requirements, and similar laws (including but not limited to Title VII, Section 1981, FMLA, ADA, FLSA). Knowledge of California and Colorado employment law preferred. Global employment law experience is a bonus.Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with stakeholders in the Legal & Compliance Department, Human Resources Department, and business leadership. Strong interpersonal skills, as demonstrated by strong written and oral communication, and high emotional intelligence.Effective communication with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners.Exceptional issue-spotting and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and appropriately escalate issues to management.Recognized as a neutral, objective, and approachable professional with the ability to remain impartial while addressing sensitive matters.Derives evidence-based insights to recommend changes and influence leadership decision-making.Exceptional use of discretion when handling sensitive, confidential, and privileged information.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Preference for experience with Workday, UKG, and other HRIS.Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: 3 days in office/2days work from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$70,300.00 - $99,000.00Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
