The Job:  

As an Employment Ethics Investigator, you will be part of our global Employment Law COE and will be key in fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment. You will leverage your expertise in Human Resources and legal knowledge to conduct thorough investigations, develop and deliver training programs, conduct root cause analysis to address concerns and utilize data-driven insights to address employee relations issues. Your efforts will help ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards while promoting a culture of fairness and transparency.  This role is a hybrid to New Britain, CT or Towson, MD.  You’ll get to:  

Conduct Employee Relations Investigations:

Lead and manage investigations into employee grievances, workplace conflicts, and potential violations of company policies.Prepare for investigations, gather and analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and document findings clearly and concisely.Present investigation findings to decision-makers and recommend appropriate actions based on investigation results.Conduct a secondary review of investigations conducted by other investigators.

Develop and Conduct Training Programs:

Design and implement training programs focused on employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with workplace policies.Deliver engaging training sessions to employees and managers to enhance their skillset to conduct thorough investigations.

Track and Oversee Employee Relations Metrics:

Develop and maintain a system for tracking employee relations metrics and outcomes.Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern, and provide actionable insights to HR leadership.

Drive Solutions for Employee Relations Issues:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis to develop action plans to address and resolve employee relations issues.Recommend training, policy changes and process improvements to enhance workplace culture and reduce conflicts.Identify potential process or control gaps that may require remediation or indicate systematic breakdowns, trends, or emerging risks.

Assign and Monitor Integrity Concerns:

Utilizing data from Ethics Point and concerns raised to local human resource teams, establish a framework for reporting and addressing integrity concerns related to employee relations.Assign cases to appropriate team members and monitor progress to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a legal degree is highly desirable.10-12 Years relevant employee relations & investigation experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for delivering training and resolving conflicts.Experience in conducting employee relations investigations in a global company and familiarity with HR practices and employment law.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.Ability to prioritize among multiple investigative tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Ethics Point to track and analyze employee relations metrics.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple cases and priorities.10% travel

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $113,100 to $226,200. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
