EMPLOYMENT FIRST RESOURCE COORD

PURPOSE:
The Employment First Resource Coordinator (EFRC) is responsible for development and/or carrying out measures within the Employment First department to promote consistent adherence to best standards of practice as it relates to providing employment supports to individuals with disabilities. The EFRC will work in concert with the Employment First Operations Manager and team of Employment First Community Job Developers to both create and efficiently maintain accessible methods of data and documentation collection. The EFRC will hold focus in assisting with building/maintaining employer relationship and satisfaction, marketing department goals through community outreach, clerical work, and providing in-house training and guidance resources to customer-base to help supplement existing Employment First practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The list of essential duties and responsibilities, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the task to be performed. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein is such duties are a logical assignment to the position.
1. Responsible for assisting in developing and following up with inquiries from a wide variety of community-based employers/businesses while ensuring that all contacts are continuously maintained for utilization and accessibility for the department. This includes up-to-date understanding and knowledge of the job market and needs of local businesses.
2. Develops and implements a business partner satisfaction program to allow consistent follow-up and long-term mutually beneficial working relationships with local employers.
3. Designs and monitors systems and processes which house database of results from community outreach, up-to-date job leads, resources and other documentation related to the work captured within the department.
4. Steps in to cover job coaching or on-site support needs for customers placed in competitive employment settings in the event that an Employment First Community Job Developer needs assistance.
5. Collaborate with Little Citys Marketing and Development teams to generate or revise program promotional materials to increase exposure.
6. Act as a provisional liaison to assist in preservation of linkage between the Employment First department and participants enrolled in the Employee Development Services program.
7. Lead and develop in-house workshops and/or training resources for individuals served as it relates to topics that will ultimately supplement skills and knowledge that EFCJD place focus on throughout the duration of customer employment plans/process. Topics could include but are not limited to: Basic computer/email skills, workplace etiquette, organization and task management, tutorials for common entry-level work duties.
8. Maintenance and upkeep of clerical information within department software database and file keeping.
9. Attends and participates in Employment First Department meetings held on a monthly basis and led by the Employment First Operations Manager.
10. Maintains a current American Heart Association certification in First-Aid and CPR, if required.
11. Successfully completes and remains in compliance with Little City Foundation Required training, re-training, and any additional training as required by Little City Foundation policies and practices, or as assigned by his or her immediate supervisor.
