Employment Law and Compliance Attorney Houston, TX Full-Time Apply Here ‹ View jobs Position description: The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking an In-House Attorney to handle a wide variety of complex legal matters and projects, with a particular focus on employment law and regulatory compliance. The specific job functions will include: reviewing, negotiating, and drafting employment agreements and policies; coordinating sophisticated litigation strategies with outside litigation counsel; advising on current legal matters and developments in employment law and regulatory compliance; advocating on behalf of the Company in employee disputes; providing general support to the Company’s leaders across all departments and affiliates; assisting and advising on regulatory and other compliance matters; and other legal matters facing the Company. This position requires travel up to 25% of the time and will be based out of our facility in Houston, Texas. Share this job Requirements: + Doctor of Jurisprudence from an accredited law school + Currently licensed to practice law in the United States, preferably in the State of Texas or Ohio + Prefer 5 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel in a corporate setting, with a focus on employment law and regulatory compliance + Exercise exceptional legal reasoning, analysis, and drafting abilities + Possess strong negotiating skills and reasoned judgment + Must be adaptive and able to work productively both independently and as a member of a team + Must be able to communicate effectively with executive and associate level employees both orally and in writing + Must be coachable and willing to learn Benefits: Our associates receive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
