Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary: 40 hours, Monday- Friday 8-4:30pm 

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides support across a wide variety of HR functional areas including recruitment, new hire on-boarding and additional duties in support of ongoing staffing, benefits and employment programs.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform duties that support hiring to include but not limited to: recruitment, processing offer letters, new hire paperwork, assisting employees with requests and following-up with them as needed, communicating with staffing agencies, answering phone calls and general office administration. Handles overflow work for HR staff engaged in project work. Function as the main point of contact for staffing agencies in matters related to recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and service expectations. Oversees new hire orientation programs including disseminating required materials to new hires, coordinating programs with managers, and collecting required documentation at the conclusion of orientation programs. Assist in maintaining tracking methods for agency staff, affiliated labor costs and length of assignments for all temporary employees. Provides job requisition clean up and runs weekly reports as needed. Utilizes recruitment resources not limited to social media, internal systems, email campaigns and job fairs to attract staff to support recruitment function. Function as a liaison between front office daily to dos and supports the Human Resources Advisors. Supports benefit administer periodically as needed. Supports additional HR functions as needed.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required

One-year recent experience in an HR capacity, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint. Proven ability to multi-task Outstanding customer service skills Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with varying levels of hospital employees. Bachelor’s Degree.
