Essential Functions What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities As an EMS Billing Manager, you will: + Oversee and manage the EMS Expense Recovery Program to ensure operational efficiency and revenue optimization. + Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and HIPAA regulations. + Manage billing service contracts and oversee vendor compliance and performance. + Conduct program audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations and best practices. + Supervise reporting, financial tracking, and budget preparation for the EMS billing program. Typical Qualifications What We’re Looking For: + 3+ years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, medical billing, or EMS related fields. + Proven track record in optimizing revenue streams and leading HIPPA compliance. + Ability to obtain and maintain certifications from the National Academy of Ambulance Compliance, such as Certified Ambulance Coder, Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer, and Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer (CAC) within the first year.
