EMS Director Full Time Days Position Summary

Accountable for managing, planning, organizing and reviewing activities and functions of the Emergency Medical Services department. Responsible for development and modification of the Emergency Preparedness Plan and other Joint Commission activities.

THE EMS DIRECTOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education

Bachelor Degree.

Experience

Management in related field and strong interpersonal skills. Prefer 5 years Emergency Medical Services.

Certifications

State Paramedic. NR EMT-P within 6 months of starting job. BLS and ACLS. PALS or PEPP within orientation period.
