As an Electron EPMA Microscopist, your primary responsibilities will include:
Executing, with guidance from engineering and production resources, analyses by EPMA (Electron Microprobe).Prepare, analyze and present technical data to a large internal / external customer baseDocument and communicate results of the technical data generatedResponsible for coordinating equipment maintenance and performing routine maintenance procedures and ensure Electron Microscopy Lab supplies are availableStay informed on latest Microprobe (EPMA) techniques and equipmentParticipate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiativesRequired Qualifications
Familiarity and experience in the operation and data analysis relative to EPMA (Electron Microprobe)Bachelor’s in Engineering, Geology. Physics, Chemistry from an accredited college or university (OR an Associates (2 yr) degree with a minimum 4 years of operational experience / analyses utilizing electron microscopes)Electron Microscopy Experience including Microprobe (2 years minimum)U.S. CitizenDesired Characteristics
