Responsibilities

Coordinate and develop programs with emergency medical services providers.

Act as a liaison between hospital and emergency medical services providers to increase volume of patients brought to emergency room.Oversee hospital training regarding emergencies. Ensure plan meets federal, state and other regulatory requirements.Educate emergency medical services providers of changes in pre-hospital standards of care.Establish quality review process for emergency medical services run sheets and follow up with providers.Assist in the development of marketing and communication programs directed towards emergency medical services providers to increase awareness of hospital's range of services.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted.Paramedic with minimum of 7-10 years experience in pre-hospital or emergency field required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
