The Enablement Trainer is expected to collaborate with Empower Personal Wealth peers and leadership to facilitate new hire training, manage administration for training, provide continuing education, identify training needs, maintain courses and programs (independently or in partnership with the instructional design team), and drive initiatives including setting high standards for maintaining current and consistent knowledge on training topics and technologies utilized by the enablement team.
What you will do
Facilitates learning solutions in-person and virtually, preparing plans according to adult learning theory and providing a high-impact, interactive environment.Identifies learning needs within assigned business units. Develops professional, collaborative relationships with business unit leaders.Acts as a subject matter expert with instructional design team to be consultative on implementing learning curriculum that is consistent with current trends, business updates, and best practices.Collaborates with instructional design team to assess, design, develop and maintain training solutions and components.Tracks and analyzes learning curriculum effectiveness through various evaluation techniques.Assists in educating employees on the use of the Learning Management System, MS Teams, and other technologies.Communicates effectively and proactively with subject matter experts, business partners, and design team.With supervision, manages project resources (people and material) to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule.Maintains current business knowledge; stays abreast of market events, investment product enhancements, and successful sales techniques in order to be up-to-speed on potential training topics.Assumes responsibility for ongoing development, researching training industry standards and best practices and embracing new technologies.Coordinate logistics of training to include training room, attendance tracking, passwords, materials and supplies.Designs and/or delivers additional content, as assigned, to support any training needs identified for the business.Strong classroom management, organization and time management skills required.Recommendations for disciplinary action for new hires in training in conjunction with management team (not actual facilitation of actions; influence only).Responsible for supply ordering, classroom management and instruction.Responsible spending within budget on supplies for call center classesAbility to work an overnight shift.What you will bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experienceFINRA Series 7 registrations required within corporate-established timelines.FINRA fingerprinting required.Certification in training and/or organizational development2-3 years of practical business experience with developing and delivering training solutionsKnowledge and experience in the financial services industryKnowledge and experience in contemporary adult learningIntermediate skill level MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, and MS PowerPointAptitude and desire to learn new tools and techniques quicklyStrong motivational and interpersonal skillsStrong presentation and classroom management skillsDemonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environmentFluent in EnglishWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
