End User Computing Engineer
The role is implementing and supporting the global End User Computing (EUC) Strategy. The End User Computing Engineer will help design, implement and maintain a set of technologies and tools to enable device deployment and management. He/she will leverage configuration management technologies to ensure efficient deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software and security policies in a distributed environment. Key Roles & Responsibilities + Develops and maintains custom reports and dashboards using Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Intune and Power BI to meet business requirements. This includes client PCs, application inventory etc. + Owns the EUC Service Delivery Scorecard reporting dashboard to drive operational excellence + Collaborates with the business and IT Service Teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting + Owns PC lifecycle reporting to enable accurate planning of PC hardware refreshes + Designs, implements and maintains client Operating Systems in a globally distributed environment + Implements and supports functions of Microsoft Configuration Manager/SCCM including Operating System Deployment, Scripts, Application Deployment, Software Updating, Collections etc. + Implements and supports functions of Microsoft Intune + Monitors and maintains the health of the Microsoft Configuration Manager/SCCM environment + Supports the implementation of Microsoft Configuration Manager/SCCM infrastructure in remote branch locations + Delivers regular project updates including project status, next steps, accomplishments and issues on multiple projects + Administers and supports the implementation of cloud-based desktop environments + Supports the lifecycle management process across all EUC services + Explores opportunities to automate repeatable processes to drive operational efficiencies + Service Desk activities + Performs service request execution from IT and business customers + Provides Second and Third Level escalated support tickets from IT client technicians + Supports implementations through the change control process + Creates Knowledge Base articles and communication for IT client technicians and end-users Required skills + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience + 5+ years working in Information Technology + Proficient in English, other languages are a plus + Proficient with Configuration Management (SCCM) Current Branch including: + Infrastructure design and installation + Operating System Deployment (OSD) + Proven experience with Power BI including report development and data analysis + Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server/Windows Server + PowerShell scripting skills + Experience with Microsoft Intune/Co-Management environments + Demonstrates advanced competencies for troubleshooting and problem solving, together with advanced customer and vendor/partner interface skills + ITIL and/or other structured service management methodologies experience + Familiar with project management methodologies/processes + Experience in implementing and executing towards a Service Management Framework in a large organization + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Customer focus + Drive for results and learning on the fly + Good listening skills + Ability to work to tight deadlines, managing a busy workload in a frequently changing environment + Works independently, leading small to medium projects and leading or participating in department and/or group technology planning + Provides input to the development of key support processes + Microsoft Certifications (MCSA/E, MD-102, PL-300) are a plus Internal Use Only: Salary Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
