End User Computing Specialist

This End User Computing specialist  position at Carnival UK offers a unique blend of learning, growth, and hands-on experience in the heart of our technology department. Enhancing the overall End User experience of IT within the Carnival UK estate, this role includes shore based and ship-based personnel and technology. The role will require occasional ship visits to some of the most luxurious vessels in the cruising industry.

 

As an integral part of the EUC team you will be involved in many varying projects including rolling out in house and third-party apps. We are looking for someone with strong experience in deploying operating systems, applications and automating the deployment of end user devices with as little intervention as possible. 

Additional responsibilities include:

Day to day End user Support through Service Requests and Incident Management, covering ship and shore Owning incidents and requests through to resolution, even when escalation is required Ensure desktop security and patch levels are maintained and monitored

This role is classified as CUK12 and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Requirements: What You Need to Succeed

Successful candidates will possess:

SCCM – Packaging, sequencing and deployment capability Extensive Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 & 11 knowledge Proven experience working as a 2nd or 3rd line end user specialist or desktop technician  Be a problem-solver with flexibility in thought & process
