The End-User Computing Systems Specialist, II performs the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems.

 

Administers and monitors day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware.

 

Must be able to commute to Morris Plains, NJ 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:
Contributes to perform on-site installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.Works with team to communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.Supports company-wide, web-enabled solutions.Mobile device administration, lifecycle management and process review/documentation across multiple regions in support of best practices for onboarding, offboarding and device/line transfers.Manages Zebra’s Telecom Expense Manager as well as multiple carrier accounts.Completes market analysis for contract renewals and negotiations on pricing and plan benefitsMay participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects.May conduct training programs designed to educate an organization’s computer users about basic and specialized applications.May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 2+ years' of work experience.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on laptops and desktops.Familiarity with common operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as, basic network troubleshooting.Must be able to commute to Morris Plains, NJ 5 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).Knowledge of endpoint management solutions (e.g., SCCM, Intune, or Jamf) for deploying and maintaining systems.Ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.Critical thinking to prioritize and manage multiple issues concurrently under time constraints.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users.A focus on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring user satisfaction.Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent experience.Solid Communication SkillsAbility to understand end user issuesTechnical hands-on experienceAble to work independently and excel in a collaborative environmentAbility to troubleshootDemonstrated knowledge of applicable IT systems / applicationsAbility to develop new systems and toolsExperience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems proceduresDemonstrated analytical skillsExperience in performing in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environmentAbility to identify and implement process improvements

Salary: USD 58500.00 - USD 87700.00 Yearly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
