End User Platform Engineer II

We’re looking for an experienced End User Platform Engineer to join our dynamic End User Platform team to contribute to our Windows, Apple and Office 365 Engineering initiatives. You'll take part in engineering projects as well as serve as a technical point of escalation to our support team.

Responsibilities

Windows Endpoint Engineering

Manage and administer Windows devices via Microsoft Intune, ensuring proper configuration, security, and compliance.Configure and maintain Windows Autopilot profiles to streamline the out-of-box experience for end users during device provisioning.Enforce security policies and settings on Windows devices using Intune to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.Define and implement standardized configurations for Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.Create automated software and solutions packages for deployment to Windows device audience.Define and enforce compliance policies for Windows devices, utilizing Intune's conditional access capabilities to control access to corporate resources.Monitor and administer Windows OS/Security patching efforts.Monitor and administer 3rd party software patching efforts.Create and maintain scripts to address specific configuration requirements and automate routine tasks.Deploy and maintain Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies for securing BYOD devices.Create and maintain comprehensive Azure Log Analytics workbooks for endpoint-related monitoring and reporting.Develop, implement, and maintain corporate Virtual Desktop solution offerings.

Apple Endpoint Engineering

Manage and administer Apple devices (macOS, iOS) via Jamf, ensuring proper configuration, security, and compliance.Implement and manage security configurations on Apple devices, addressing vulnerabilities and adhering to industry best practices.Develop and enforce standardized configurations for macOS and iOS devices, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and security policies.Monitor and administer macOS/iOS security patching efforts.Implement configuration profiles to manage settings, restrictions, and preferences on Apple devices.Design and manage the deployment of applications to macOS and iOS devices using Jamf.Utilize Jamf configuration profiles and scripts to automate the deployment of settings and configurations on Apple devices.Implement and maintain zero-touch deployment strategies to enhance the user onboarding experience.Create and maintain scripts to address specific configuration requirements and automate routine tasks.Administer the Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP) to streamline the enrollment and provisioning of macOS and iOS devices.Manage integration with Apple Business Manager to streamline device deployment, application licensing, and account management.

Microsoft 365 Product Engineering

Develop, implement, and maintain automated solutions for enhancing the overall user experience surrounding M365 products and services.Implement and manage security policies for M365 services, including threat protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and conditional access.Integrate M365 services with third-party applications and services to enhance collaboration and productivity.Collaborate with business units to design and implement custom workflows and information architecture in M365 services.Collaborate with business units to design and deploy custom applications and automate workflows using Power Platform.

General Responsibilities

Function as a technical escalation point for large-scale, aging, or complex end user support tickets.Serve as a Product Owner and subject matter expert for responsible products/services.Partner with Teladoc global IT team in support of key business objectives.Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.Seek out, research, and share ideas for enhancing, optimizing, or securing Teladoc's end user experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, with a focus on Windows devices (Intune/SCCM) and Apple devices (Jamf).Professional certifications desired (Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Jamf 100/200/300, etc.).Strong understanding of modern endpoint security practices and compliance requirements.Advanced knowledge of PowerShell and Bash scripting methodologies as it pertains to end user device management.Intermediate knowledge of Python and Swift scripting methodologies as it pertains to end user device management.Advanced understanding of Windows Registry architecture and Group Policy controls in a modern environment.Advanced understanding of Azure architecture, including associated device/user management practices via Microsoft Entra ID.Advanced troubleshooting skills surrounding complex technical end user device issues in large, distributed environment.Intermediate knowledge of GitHub and how to utilize and apply best practices for collaborative data management.Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.
