*Description* *Excellent Endocrinologist Opportunity, Danbury, Connecticut – **(60 miles from New York City)* Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a 6th Endocrinologist to join our established and growing practice in Danbury, Connecticut. Experienced, new and recent graduates welcome, including 2026 graduates. Generous sign-on bonus and relocation allowance provided. Danbury is located in suburban Fairfield County, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes five Endocrinologists, three APPs, and excellent support staff. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. The practice prides itself in the stability of its physician staffing and values the importance of a work/life balance. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team with some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. The position is mainly outpatient with some inpatient consults at Danbury Hospital, located just minutes from the office. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations as we continue to grow the practice to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base. This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k match. Our seven-hospital system and medical practice offers the full range of Endocrinology and Diabetes care including Transgender Medicine and Thyroid Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment. We have in-office ultrasound for thyroid biopsies though this is not a requirement for physicians. Our staff is trained in Insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring Devices, and there is in-system access to our Certified Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center, Thyroid–Parathyroid Center, and Metabolic–Weight Loss Center. We have an Inpatient Diabetes Management Quality Improvement Team as well.
