ChristianaCare is currently looking for a highly motivated NP/PA to be the Lead APC for our Endocrinology Team!
The selected candidate will devote 80% - 90% of their time to clinical responsibilities, and 10 - 20% of their time to administrative responsibilities. The Lead APC will provide clinical and administrative support to advanced practice clinicians. This will include, but not limited to hiring, credentialing, performance management, onboarding, professional development and regulatory standards. The selected candidate will provide medical management to our Endocrinology patients at our Newark and Springside practice. Practice hours are 8:00 to 4:30. This position is day shift, no weekends or holidays. The Lead APC will have 4 hours per week of administrative time and 4 hours per week of non-patient facing time, which both can be done remotely.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of a master’s degree program and board certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or completion of a Physician Assistant program and board certification as a Physician Assistant. At least 2 years of experience as an advanced practice clinician; prior experience in Metabolic Health/Endocrinology preferred.Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator is preferred.
