The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for cleaning and decontamination of Endoscopy instruments and equipment. Responsible for the reassemble of instruments and storage of equipment. Responsible for the proper use of equipment cleaners and other related equipment. Must maintain a clean and safe workplace, keeping accurate records and maintaining forms. Will assist the physician with the Endoscopy procedure as needed. Must understand the equipment needed for Endoscopy. Will assist with posting of charges as assigned, be responsible with other team members for ensuring all supplies are charged for.
