Endoscopy Technician | Endoscopy

Find your purpose by helping get patients the answers they need.

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll work side-by-side with doctors and nurses and actively participate in endoscopies, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies and other procedures. Patients will need you to be their coach while they undergo some procedures. An Endoscopy Technician is a wonderful first step toward a career in health care. Doctors and nurses often begin as Endo Techs.

You’ll also keep patients safe and mitigate infection by performing high level disinfecting and maintenance on a variety of scopes.

You’ll succeed faster in this role if you have previous healthcare experience and know anatomy and medical terminology (especially related to gastroenterology), but we can train you if you don’t already have this knowledge.

"I love working in Endoscopy because of the diversity that the job holds. Having the flexibility to switch up what I'm doing from a day-to-day basis plays a big role in breaking up the stereotypical 9-5 job. One day I might be in the back room helping to reprocess scopes, the next day I can be side by side with the doctors and nurses assisting with direct patient care. I always knew that I wanted to be in a healthcare setting, but I struggled with what it was that I was seeking. With being an Endoscopy Technician, and not needing any previous experience, it was a great way to open the door to endless options in the healthcare field. I can finally say that I truly love my job!"
