Job DescriptionThe Endoscopy Technician responsibilities include: setup and turnover of endoscopic procedures within the Endoscopy department, endoscope reprocessing, assisting the physician during endoscopic procedures as needed, assisting with patient discharge and turnover, and other routine duties as required.Call required.Qualifications

EDUCATION:High School Graduate or equivalent education.Maintenance of current BLS certification.

EXPERIENCE:Previous endoscopy technician experience preferred. 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:Good interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, computer experience required. Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure. Maintains sensitivity, maturity and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.
