Part-time, Per-Diem, day shift. Monday – Frida, rotating start times between 6:45am – 9:00am. No weekends, holiday or on-call rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Endoscopy Technician to:
Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting. Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy. Restock procedure room supplies and monitor supply PAR levels. Troubleshoot all specialty equipment. Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.At UW Health, you will have:

Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant)
Work Experience:
Preferred – One (1) year of experience in a clinical setting (or) one (1) year of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures, basic cardiac monitoring experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – BLS/CPR certification
