We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** **Position Summary:** ​Provides care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. **Essential Functions:** + ​​​ ​​Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, equipment, and supplies needed for various procedures.​ + ​​​ ​​Assists with endoscopic procedures by performing transporter duties, obtains supplies, equipment, and instrumentation as needed. Assists physicians and RN as needed during endoscopic procedures.​ + ​​​ ​​Serves as the patient and family advocate with respect to the patients’ right to privacy by protecting confidential information.​ + ​​​ ​​Participates in call schedule and reports for duty within 30 minutes of notification.​ + ​​​ ​​In coordination with other team members, responsible for routine inspection, equipment maintenance, and replacement of instrumentation. Process instrumentation according to High Level Disinfection policies.​ + ​​​ ​​Promotes and displays a positive customer oriented demeanor to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians.​ + ​​ ​​Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care, or the services delivered. ​ + ​​​ ​​Demonstrates knowledge of the occurrence reporting system.
