Job Description Summary:

The Endpoint Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing modern endpoint solutions that support a dynamic and flexible work environment. This role focuses on integrating advanced technologies and tools to enhance productivity, security, and user experience for endpoints such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. The Endpoint Engineer will collaborate with IT and business teams to leverage modern work platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, collaboration tools) and ensure seamless management and support of endpoints in a hybrid or remote work setting. This position requires expertise in modern endpoint management technologies, a deep understanding of cloud-based solutions, and the ability to optimize endpoints for contemporary work practices.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)Endpoint Design and Implementation: Develop and implement strategies for the deployment, configuration, and management of endpoint devices. Design solutions that enhance performance, security, and user experience.Modern Endpoint Management: Design and implement solutions for managing endpoints in a modern work environment using tools like Microsoft Endpoint, Entra ID, and other cloud-based management platforms.Endpoint Management: Utilize endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware , Ivanti Neurons, Workspace ONE, SCCM) to automate device provisioning, software distribution, and updates.Security and Compliance: Ensure endpoint devices comply with security policies and standards. Implement and manage endpoint protection solutions to guard against threats such as malware and unauthorized access.Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud technologies to deploy, configure, and manage endpoints, ensuring integration with cloud-based applications and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies and practices tailored to modern work environments. Implement endpoint protection measures to safeguard data and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.User Experience Optimization: Enhance the user experience by optimizing endpoint performance and ensuring smooth access to necessary applications and resources in a remote or hybrid work setting.Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced support for complex endpoint issues, including remote troubleshooting and resolution. Collaborate with other IT teams to address and resolve critical incidents.Technology Adoption: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies related to modern work and endpoint management. Assess and recommend new tools and solutions to improve endpoint management and user productivity.Technology Integration: Work with IT teams to integrate new technologies and solutions into the endpoint environment. Assess and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years equivalent professional experience.

Basic Qualifications

Extensive experience with endpoint management, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, SCCM) and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).Extensive experience with modern endpoint management technologies and cloud-based solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Microsoft 365).Strong knowledge of contemporary work tools and platforms, including collaboration software and remote work solutions.Proficiency in security practices and technologies relevant to modern work environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with end users and IT teams in a remote or hybrid setting.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $77,424.82-$129,034.02
