**Basic Qualifications:**
+ The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in aerospace, computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering with at least eight (8) years of applicable experience or six (6) with MS degree.
+ Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial engineering practices and processes across multiple engineering disciplines.
+ Candidates must have experience developing and executing hardware or software plans and procedures.
+ Candidates must have experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
+ Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
+ Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
**Responsibilities Include:**
+ Using system requirements to generate plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware and software projects;
+ Using EVM and Agile principals and tools to drive a project to completion.
+ The individual will interface with customers; department leadership; project managers; designers; analysts; quality, safety, and security personnel; and other test engineers within Leidos.
+ The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
