To support our growth, we are hiring for senior Energy Analyst Lead to work in our Energy Analytics practice. You will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. The Energy Analytics team is a leader in utility and government energy transition planning, program design, and demand side management (DSM) program implementation analytics. Our thorough understanding of our clients’ needs and our ability to connect the practical on the ground experience enables us to help clients make big things possible.

What you will be doing:
In this role as an Energy Analyst you will be evaluating the energy usage, assess the effectiveness of energy efficiency and demand response programs, contribute to distributed energy resource planning, and perform cost-effectiveness analysis. This role requires a strong quantitative skillset that integrates data science, statistics, and econometrics, along with the ability to excel in a dynamic and collaborative consulting environment.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field1+ year of experience working in energy efficiency technology assessment, utility program development and implementation, program evaluation, clean energy analysis, or related areas.What we would like you to have:
MA/MS in a related fieldCertifications in basic programming or data analyticsDemonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making expertiseSkilled in data management, ETL processes, and visualizationExperience with one or more of the following programming languages: R, Stata, SQL, PythonExperience with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and PowerBIFamiliarity with geospatial analyses and advanced statistical approachesFamiliarity of energy codes and standards related to energy efficiency measuresExcellent communication skills, with the ability to handle complexity and articulate findings clearly.Ability to develop analysis plans for discrete tasks and/or projectsTeam player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentSound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential informationSuperior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism and a cooperative attitudeStrong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities.Working at ICF

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$60,927.00 - $103,576.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
