The Energy Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive energy assessments at retail facilities, with the goal of identifying energy-saving opportunities, optimizing resource use, and enhancing the efficiency of parametric control systems. The role also includes the installation of electrical energy measurement equipment, the use of devices to measure temperature and humidity, providing training on best practices for control equipment, and offering on-site technical support for parametric control systems related to HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed energy audits in retail stores and distribution centers. Evaluate the energy performance of equipment such as HVAC systems, lighting, refrigeration, and process controls. Identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency and propose technological solutions to reduce consumption. Install and configure electrical energy measurement equipment and utilize devices for measuring temperature and humidity at audited facilities. Implement and oversee energy efficiency projects, ensuring solutions comply with local and international standards, such as ISO 50001. Collaborate with clients’ sustainability teams to integrate energy measures aligned with their environmental and sustainability objectives. Provide on-site technical support for the operation and maintenance of parametric controls in HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration systems. Develop and execute energy optimization strategies that address both operational needs and clients’ sustainability commitments. Follow up on findings reported during audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken and that each issue is effectively closed. Deliver training sessions to client teams on best practices for managing control equipment to promote efficient resource use. Conduct post-implementation follow-ups to verify the success of the adopted measures and ensure proper closure of identified findings. Prepare detailed reports of the audits conducted, presenting results, recommendations, and progress on addressing and closing reported findings. Stay updated on emerging technologies, energy-saving regulations, and sustainability standards, particularly ISO 50001.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Energy, or Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Certifications in energy audits, sustainability, or energy efficiency are highly valued.
Technical Knowledge:
Installation and use of electrical energy measurement equipment, temperature, and humidity devices.HVAC systems, efficient lighting, refrigeration, and parametric controls.Energy efficiency technologies and renewable energy.International energy management standards, particularly ISO 50001, and local regulations.Sustainability principles and practices.Skills:
Strong analytical and energy data management skills.Ability to produce technical reports and presentations.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Project management experience, including the ability to track and close audit findings.Ability to provide technical support for parametric control systems and deliver training on best practices.Competencies:
