To join CLEAResult as an Energy Efficiency Regulatory Consultant. Fulfilling CLEAResult’s position as the market leader in Energy Efficiency, this position seeks to support a team of subject matter experts who collaborate closely with Business Development and Program Directors to develop growth strategies, innovative Energy Efficiency (EE) programs, products and services through Utility regulatory policy research and engagement.

An ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of how utility and energy policy is created and enforced, experience in leading highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals, and demonstrate creative problem-solving methods to complex industry & policy issues.  The ability to develop a strong understanding of a state’s regulatory environment and the needs & obligations of all stakeholders will give this position the opportunity to support, lead and advise a strong team of experts tasked with building strong relationships with key stakeholders including current and prospective Utility clients, evaluators, environmental groups and interveners, state officials, etc. 

Additionally, this position will collaborate with Business Development and Program partners in evolving current EE programs and, at times, defending the EE structures and market.  A solid understanding of the important metrics within a given program, portfolio or vertical market is critical to provide the needed analytical insights to support sales and growth functions while combating EE divestments.

Support & advise a team of highly skilled subject matter experts in policy, design & evaluation projects across a 22-state regionUnderstand, analyze, and report on current and prospective policy happenings within the states assignedProject manage multiple regional initiatives, track policy movements and EE fundingDeploy resources and provide expert oversight on cost-effectiveness analyses on current and prospective programsIntegrate CLEAResult products and services with Utility Client regulatory needsPresent on policy and regulatory proceedings to regional leadershipAttend utility commission stakeholder meetings where appropriateEstablish relationships with key stakeholders where assignedDevelop solutions to EE regulatory and market problems in collaboration with Business Development and Regional Directors

Exciting candidates have...

Any combination of experience in energy, environmental, and regulatory affairs and/or an advanced education degree in public policy, finance, economics, public administration or a related fieldStrong Project Management capabilities and accreditationsDemonstrated ability to communicate and report to senior level management and C-Suite executivesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint

Target Compensation:

$100,000 - $135,000 / annually + annual bonus incentive
