Description: As an Energy Engineering Intern at LG Energy Solution, you will be assisting and supporting cost effective initiatives for multiple utility facility operations and construction projects. Responsibilities: At LGESMI you will working directly with our Manufacturing/Production Engineers and will be working on projects that include: + Support the planning and operations engineering activities concerned with design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning + Mechanical: Boiler, Compressed Dry Air System, Chiller, HVAC, Piping etc. + Electrical: Switchgear (MV, LV), Transformer, PLC, Bus duct etc. + Assist with troubleshooting breakdown of utility facilities + Monitoring utility operations + Demonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost + Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related majors -Junior or Senior standing + Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 GPA or higher + Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation + Ability to be flexible and adapt to new tasks and projects + Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills + Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals + Ability to work outside and complete manual labor Our team members are leading the electric vehicle industry in a technically advanced manufacturing environment.
