Energy Industry Specialist Architect
AWS is looking for an Industry Specialist Architect in Oil & Gas for the AWS Energy & Utilities Business Unit, who will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help customers design and develop solutions on AWS. As part of the Energy & Utilities Industry Specialist Solutions Architecture team, you will work closely with customers in various geographies to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of AWS. You will interact with other AWS Solutions Architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements, and you will develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage AWS services. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader AWS Solutions Architect population, to help them understand how to integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures. You drive effective feedback gathering from customers, and you distill and translate that feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams to review. You sponsor the creation of new products and features from these requirements, working closely with product and engineering teams to minimize requirements drift from your customer’s needs.

The AWS Industries team is committed to helping industry customers enable their digital transformation journeys. Our primary goal is to meet customers where they are in their cloud journey and work backwards from their industry specific needs to transform their business and their entire industry. Our team speaks the language of our industry customers, which means that we focus on business outcomes and industry use cases on behalf of our customers, whether that is how we build products and solutions, how we sell, how we deliver, or how we partner.
