In this role, you will:
Work on first-in-market transactions with clients leading the energy transition and decarbonisation agenda, both domestically and internationally Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of energy and sustainability matters, including transactional and advisory work Draft, review, and finalize legal documents related to clean energy transactions, M&A, project development contracts, and financing Work with great people across multi-disciplinary teams and create lasting relationships and great friendships Support the team in pursuing work in sustainability, regulatory, and climate-focused areas Expand your knowledge and learning outside the traditional legal skills and continue to grow as a sector specialist
What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
Minimum of 4 years post-admission experience, ideally with a focus on the energy sector. Strong background in energy law, sustainability credentials or transferrable skills from infrastructure or related sectors. Excellent drafting and documentations skills, with ability to handle complex legal matters independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support cross-disciplinary and client relationships and train and mentor team
