Your role will directly contribute to achieving carbon reduction goals, including compliance with groundbreaking legislation like NYC Local Law 97, while promoting a culture of energy awareness and excellence across the organization. Join us and help define the future of energy management. What You'll Do: Conduct Energy Audits: Identify cost-saving opportunities and ways to enhance our energy footprint across diverse assets. Innovate with Renewable Energy: Lead the adoption of cutting-edge renewable technologies and implement carbon reduction strategies, especially in line with NYC’s Local Law 97. Collaborate & Drive Efficiency: Work alongside cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate energy-efficient practices into our business operations. Lead Projects from Start to Success: Manage every detail, from planning and projections to implementation and tracking ROI, ensuring each project meets its goals. Stay Ahead of Regulatory Compliance: Keep us compliant with the latest energy regulations and environmental standards. Champion a Culture of Energy Awareness: Develop engaging training programs that inspire our team to embrace sustainable practices. Monitor & Report: Implement monitoring systems to showcase our achievements in energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental impact. Specific Responsibilities: Renewable Energy Integration: Evaluate the feasibility and potential benefits of integrating renewable energy sources. Develop and implement plans for the adoption of renewable energy technologies. Monitor renewable energy systems to ensure optimal performance. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about energy-related regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. Manage the organization’s compliance with all relevant energy and environmental regulations. Provide guidance on obtaining and maintaining certifications related to energy efficiency. Employee Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on energy conservation best practices. Foster a culture of energy awareness and sustainability throughout the organization. Collaborate with internal communication teams to promote energy-related initiatives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of energy management initiatives. Previous experience in the implementation of energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy sources, and energy-related regulations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex energy data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of building systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BMS, fire & life safety, and elevator operations. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
